Potatoes Carbonara

Met up with this 2 all time favourite ex-classmates of mine this morning to cook. What's the occasion? It's our annoyingly cute Joey's belated present.

Shouldn't have been so confident of myself. Had bad time management (poor Shuojian only had a few potato pancakes) and the carbonara was too salty. But I'm still glad that she liked it :) I really miss those secondary school days with her :'(

I was clearly too lazy to dress up. I just threw in my bralet together with the skater skirt which I bought from Taiwan and left the house. Miss Taiwan so so much..

Anyway, I'm using a new photo editing website, thus the change in the colours of the photos. I prefer original photo colour, just trying out the effects this time!

Can't wait to meet my boyfriend tomorrow again! I guess we will either be cycling or kite flying. I'm torn between this two. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Savoury Galettes

After watching this video last night, I had this crazy idea to get into the kitchen and do a woman's job - cook.

My mum don't really cook because she's always tired from her job and she hates cleaning up. Well, naturally, I don't really cook too. What's more, my kitchen is a living hell for a fat kid. Nothing at all. I even had to borrow an egg from my neighbour just now. LOL.

Luckily for me, Mo was free and she came over to visit me! This was rather impromptu. We went shopping at NTUC and bought cherry tomatoes, ham and green/red pepper for the fillings. Mmm. Healthy.

Thought that the galettes won't be enough, so I cooked my all-time favourite macaroni and cheese.

There's definitely room for improvement, but I'm really proud of what we managed to do! Do give this a try. It's delicious!!!

Macaroni Cheese

I took the cheapest ingredients except for the hotdogs. Guess I added too much milk. Didn't add cream too. I love it anyway. *rubs tummy*
