Sydney Day 3

Since we all had a little bit too much the night before, we woke up at 12noon on the third day. Feeling lazy, we headed to the cafe right below our hostel to have breakfast. I ordered their big breakfast!

AUD$12.90
A generous portion consisting of 2 eggs of your choice (poached eggs for the win!!!), sausage, 2 slices of bacon, mushrooms, tomato, hashbrown and a toast. It was so filling!!

The guys who ordered eggs benedict.

Dylan told Billy that eggs benedict tastes really good with sugar and guess what?
BILLY POURED A WHOLE LOT OF IT ON HIS HOLLANDAISE SAUCE WTF HAHAHA.
Then that's when Dylan revealed to Billy that he was just trolling *laughing with tears in eyes*

After the hearty breakfast, we took a free shuttle bus 555 to Circular Quay. That's the place where we are going to see one of the (ex) 7 wonders of the world - Sydney Opera House!

When we alighted, we were greeted by the overly enthusiastic Australian sun. The heat was so unbearable!! Despite being a dry continent, it was so hot that I was perspiring a little :(

Took photos with the Habour Bridge!

Just let me fall in love with the Australian sky

The Sydney Opera House was meh.. The interior feels like an old version of Esplanade. It was really quiet as well. We rested inside for awhile since it was damn freaking hot out there.

Accordingly to Micheal, there was a spot that was discovered by a lady in the Royal Botanic Garden which gives the best view of the Opera House AND the Habour Bridge! I also read online that it is a must to visit the garden.

Trying my best to salvage some of the blur photos :(

There was an event going on in the garden and we decided to join in!

Sinister Dylan is sinister.

Fart machine blocking people's view.

It was basically a performance by some African people where they played their traditional drums and flew all over the place hahaha.

So we continued our walk and tadaaaaaa!!
Clear blue skies and a wonderful view of Sydney's icons. It was also rather windy. It just felt good to be there, admiring the view and enjoying the company :)

HAHAHAHHA I SWEAR A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE WERE STARING AT THEM

Photos taken using somebody's toe on Dylan's iPad.

 Doing what we do best!

We strolled back to the Opera House and took a final group photo before heading to The Rocks!

Tasmay and I leaving our love mark.

Burnt.

Dylan's dad actually recommended us to go to The Rocks and I was really curious about the place because I never heard of it before. Turns out, it was a beautiful place with tons of brick walls and cafes and restaurants - a heaven for hipsters.

I wished I could've taken more photos of the place itself, but we were so hungry everything was done in a rush :( But if you heading to Sydney, The Rocks is a place you have to visit!

We settled down in an Italian pizzeria for our 2nd meal of the day! The pizzeria had an interesting theme. You know those with really old brick walls, a fire place and framed posters? Ah well, I'm bad at all these interior design terms, but you get the idea!

We ordered 3 pizzas - pepperoni, chicken and crocodile.
And yep, you heard it right. We tried crocodile meat pizza *instantly feels like Bear Grylls HAHAHA*

Billy's super sexy expression.

To be honest, there wasn't anything very special about crocodile meat. It basically tastes like chewy fish meat? But it's worth a try!
M: AUD$17 / L: AUD$24

This time round, I was the one that got trolled.
Due to religion beliefs, I never ate beef before. My only experience was when I accidentally bite into a cheeseburger and spitting everything out upon knowing that it was beef. I am allowed to eat beef outside home, but I just feel bad..? LOL.

So anyway, after eating the pepperoni pizza (my first try), Michael asked what meat those red sausages were. I literally had a panic attack because the rest of the guys played along and said it looked like beef. I was so worried that I asked the staff what meat it was and then the guys laughed and said it was pork.
SERIOUSLY SLAP YOU ALL PLEASE HAHAHA.

So we made our way back to our hostel by foot because the free shuttle bus service ended :(

Bought a lemon meringue tart along the way because I have always wanted to try one. It was rather disappointing? I thought the lemon was way too strong for the light and fluffy top. But oh well!

As usual, we bought alcohol back to the hostel and had our usual night of fun and games.

Till now, I still miss Sydney. Life there was so laidback and we walked so much (personally love to walk). Even though there were times we all just walked and didn't want to talk, I still enjoyed those moments. I'm glad that I treasured those moments X
