Taiwan: Exploring Taipei

We finally got to travel via their public transport. It's almost the same concept as Singapore's only that their sign boards are filled with Chinese.

Instead if tickets, we were given tokens! Cute!!

We took the train to Taipei City Hall, and waited for the shuttle bus to pick us up. I was so sad when I found out that the top half of Taipei 101 was covered by the fog. We didn't go up in the end :(

It's boring there. Unless you are filthy rich and can afford to shop there. FYI, branded things there are more expensive than those in Singapore. Boooooo!

After that, we went to some Memorial Museum. I'm not a history type of person, so it was boring trip.

The only thing that was special was the march. There will be 2 men on duty to 'guard' the statue of a respected man of Taiwan. Every hour, they will change shift. The men above are from Taiwan Air Force. Their march was really.. *salutes*

The picture on the right was taken at Wu Fen Pu. It's a wholesale market so I spent 99% of my time negotiating with the stall holders and buying clothes after clothes after clothes.. Ok lah, not a lot.
