Finally. My Lubitel 166 Universal has arrived.
Waited for 2 weeks for it to ship from Ukraine. I was on the verge of ripping the parcel open but I HAD to handle the camera with care. After brushing away the styrofoam bits, the vintage Russian camera revealed.
Rushed down to Lomography and the extremely friendly staff taught me how to operate the camera. He even jokingly offered $100 to buy my camera (fat hope!). Bought 3 rolls of 120mm films and started snapping away.
I'm facing difficulties in focusing. Images from the 1st roll should be quite bad. Haha! Well, operating a fully manual and mechanic camera isn't easy to start off with :(
Practice makes perfect! Hope to produce better images with this twin-reflex camera in future ^^
